The Magicshine Monteer 8000 Galaxy V2 is about as good as it gets as far as front lights are concerned. With 8000 Lumens of verified output at your fingertips, you can light the trail ahead like the landing lights of a passenger plane.
Built within an IP65 rated aluminium body protecting against dust and water ingress, the compact front light features 5 x CREE XHP 50.2 LEDs on a custom reflector and lens system designed with multiple beam pattern modes. The top row of LEDs will put out a max of 4800 lumens of flood light on a 30 beam, while the bottom row shoots into the distance with up to 3200 lumens of spot light on a 20 beam. With a throw of up to 315m and a beam intensity of 25,000 Candela, the Magicshine Monteer 8000 Galaxy V2 literally turns night into day.
The 10,000mAh 7.2V rechargeable battery uses 4 high-powered 21700 cells and can be charged using the USB-C input. You can also use the battery as a USB-C power supply for your other devices. With a built-in battery monitor and check button, you’ll always know how much power you have left and with an IPX6 rating (protected against high-pressure water stream from any angle) you don’t have to be concerned about getting caught in the rain. The MJ6118 has a soft, non-slip silicone foam strip applied to one side and is supplied with a pair of Nylon and Velcro straps for you to secure the battery to your frame without damage or movement.
Magicshine Monteer 8000 Galaxy V2 can be controlled by the M-Remote, sold separately.

Charging Method and Time: Battery can be slow charged using a 5V USB power supply taking 7 to 9 hours or the unit can be fast-charged taking advantage of the USB-C quick charge mode up to 9V @ 2A which takes 2-3 hours. (USB QC charger not included)
Mount Type: The included alloy handlebar mount provides a hinged opening for use on 31.8mm and 35mm handlebars and clamps to the handlebars beside the stem. The head of the light has a ‘male’ Garmin mount at the base for quick and easy removal and replacement from the handlebar mount. The mounting system positions the head of the light in front of the stem and allows the light to be tilted up or down as required.
Beam Angle: The upper three LEDs are focused to form a 30 flood beam, while the 2 lower LEDs are focused to form a 20 spot beam. The upper and lower LEDs can be used separately or together. The combined beam is capable of throwing light 315m and has an intensity of 25,000 Candela.
Waterproof Rating: The light head is rated to IP65 meaning it is completely protected from dust and protected from low-pressure water streams from any angle. The battery is IPX6 rated which means it is protected from high-pressure water streams from any angle.
