The Thule EuroWay G2 is a 3-bike, towball mounted platform carrier with a massive 51kg maximum weight limit making it a great choice for those with E-Bikes.
The large handle makes it easy to securely attach the EuroWay G2 to your towball and the easy-access foot pedal enables the smooth tilting of the rack, even when fully loaded, away from the vehicle to give you access to the boot area. The carrier can be locked to the vehicle and the bikes to the carrier for peace of mind, and the bikes are supported by the wheels and kept still with dual pump-action straps and well-spaced upper support arms to minimise the likelihood of any damage. The newly designed bike support arms are easily detached from the vertical support brace so you can thread them through the jungle of frames without risk of damage and the clamp adjustment knobs feature Thule’s AcuTight torque-limiting, which clicks when you’ve reached optimal torque for the frame clamp.
The Thule EuroWay G2 is light enough that you won’t dread installing and removing it as required, and it folds up small enough to be stored in the boot of the vehicle, or hide away somewhere in the garage or house without taking up too much space. The hassle-free integrated number plate holder and light board ensure that your cargo is road-legal and ready to go in the quickest time possible.

How many bikes does it carry: The Thule EuroWay G2 is a 3-bike, towball mounted platform carrier.
How does it carry them: The EuroWay G2 is a platform rack, supporting the weight of the bikes by their tyres and providing vertical support to each bike with an arm that clamps the frame and attaches to a vertical support brace on the carrier. The bikes are strapped down into the wheel tracks with ratcheting wheel straps which also prevents them from moving fore and aft.
How much weight can it carry: The maximum weight capacity is 51kg with a weight limit of 24kg for any individual bike.
E-Bike rated: It certainly is if your e-bike weighs less than the recommended maximum of 24kg.
How does it mount to the car: The Euroway G2 features a towball clamp that is compatible with most standard towballs. A large handle provides the leverage to clamp down tight onto the towball, preventing movement.
Does it tilt or swing to gain access to the vehicle: Yes. The EuroWay G2 features a large foot pedal just below the number plate that releases the carrier from the frame, allowing it to be tilted away from the vehicle, even when fully loaded, to provide access to the boot of the car.
What size bikes (wheel base) can it carry: Although Thule doesn’t specify, the EuroWay G2 will accommodate most bikes up to a 1250mm wheelbase.
What is the max tyre size: The wheel cups will accept tyres of up to 2.3″ width. Probably not recommended for knobby MTB tyres of any more than about 2.25″.
How much does it weigh / dimensions: The carrier weighs 16.4kg and is 102cm wide and 73cm deep.
Does it fold up for storage: Yes, it does, the vertical support rack and bike support arms fold flat onto the platform and the wheel cups slide inward, as do the tail lights.
Does it include a lock: There is a keyed lock to lock the carrier to the car and each of the bike support arms are key lockable preventing the bikes from being removed easily.
Does it have an integrated licence plate holder / brake / reverse lights: Yes, the EuroWay G2 has an integrated, full-featured lightboard and number plate holder.
Plug Type: It comes fitted with a 7-pin flat plug.
